CAROLYN CRESWELL WOWS NUMURKAH

 
 
Carolyn Creswell, Telstra Business Women of the Year, was the keynote speaker at the Rotary Club of Numurkah's Breakfast Presentation on Thursday 5th June.
Carolyn enthralled and entertained the sell-out crowd with her inspirational story of her purchase of a small muesli business and developing it into the number one supermarket brand in Australia and exporting into 32 countries.
Carolyn's words of wisdom: "Be brave, be strong, follow your gut and be true to yourself. And if you find someone without a smile, give them yours".
Carolyn stressed the importance of enjoying the journey rather than focusing on the destination.
Tips for business success:
  • Know your numbers (weekly sales).
  • Try and remove the clutter from your life,
  • Try not to let yourself be in a position where money stresses you out.
  • Plan your life rather than letting it plan you.
  • Clean your car - it makes you feel good.
  • Don't worry about something until it becomes something to worry about.
  • How will you feel about an issue in a day, a month, a year.
  • Always be appreciative of those who help you.
