CLUB MEETING 24th MARCH 2019

The Club Members, Friends and Guests met for a tour of Katunga Fresh hydroponic tomatos by Peter Van den Goor and family.

• 12 members attended District Conference which was very good with great speakers.
• Changeover 26th June with D.G. E. Malcolm Kerr to attend.
• Combined services dinner 14th April with Julie Brooks CEO Pals to be guest speaker.

REPORTS

SECRETARY PHIL MEAGHER:

• Good Friday Appeal.
• RSL Gunfire Breakfast use of BBQ and Rotarians.
• RSL appeal for funds for P.A. system on Anzac Day.
• Letter from James Miller a 16 year old student at St Mary's was Victorian State Champion High Jumper, invited to compete in Canada in June/July at a cost of $6000 - $7000

• Good Friday Appeal 6 volunteers to assist CFA. starting at 9 am.
• Soldier Settlement Project meeting on-site with Marilyn Gourley from Moira Shire.
• Community BBQ struggling for numbers.
• Men's Health Project 15th June.

A.D.G. CHRIS SUTTON:

5 riders participated in 6 day Ride to Conference. Total of 23 riders plus support crew Travelled over 615km and raised $13,000 for Rotary Health.

JULIE ANDREW:

Debating team in grand final at conference against Albury. 

Gave a faultless performance and were Runners Up.

Jess Camm, Ayla Armstrong, Riley Wilson and coach June Hando.

PRESIDENT JACQUE has voting papers distributed to members for election of meeting venue.

Next meeting at Golf Club on 9th April, followed by a board meeting.
