Frank mentioned some great new business inititatives happening in our local area - expansion of Flavorite tomato houses, new Booth's transport depot, submission for a 100 megawatt solar system, new McColls depot.
GUEST SPEAKER:
President Jacque opened the club assembly by asking the committees to break into groups and discuss a strategic plan for the year in the SWOT analysis format ( strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats).

There was some great discussion and planning which will be compiled and presented back to the club by the end of the month.
REPORTS
Jacque thanked Jeff for taking the Rural Medical students around our local area showing them the benefits of a rural life.
Chris and Jeff presented certificates of appreciation to Anna Curaso and the students for the Business Breakfast catering.
Steve Mills visited three Rotary Club meetings in USA recently - San Fransisco, Provedence and Cambridge. He swapped club banners and had some interesting meeting tyraditions to report on.
Grant wanted to advertise the Childrens Choir at St Joeys next Monday 10th July at 11:00 am with help needed for the BBQ. Grant also has arranged a meeting with Craig Lowndes management in September to di
