CLUB MEETING 11th JULY 2022

PAST PRESIDENT STEPHEN MILLS welcomed members and guests, June Hewson, Andrew Davis and District Governor David McPherson..

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

• Board decided to keep subs at $200, although with R.I. & District Dues and insurance it costs $270 for each member.
• Press release prepared by NCN Health and Rotary Club re bus project.

CHAIR: P.P. CHRIS SUTTON:

On long service leave with travel plans. Timely as Pioneer Lodge has gone into lockdown.

District Governor David McPherson in making his official visit to the club, spoke on his goals for the year.

Rotary Strategic Plan is to increase impact, expand our reach and enhance participants engagement, and development of equality and inclusion.

• Diversity - welcome people of all backgrounds, cultures, experiences and ideals.
• Equity - ensure each person has access to resources, opportunities, network and support.
• Inclusion - create a culture where each person knows they are valued and belong.

 Different Kinds of Rotary clubs:

• Satellite - members with sponsor club choose their own structure.
• Passport - members attend any club.
• Corporate - members work for same employer.
• Cause-based - members unite to address a particular cause.

ATTENDANCE:

10 apologies. 21 in attendance, giving a percentage of 75%
