Welcomed Geoff Austin back from his 800Km bike ride.
Kiosk BBQ on Saturday raised funds for the Community House.
BBQ for "Break Through For A Brighter Future" Wednesday 7th.
Messenger Group formed for board members.
Requested access to swimming pool to identify future projects.

Spent weekend in Melbourne with grand-children
GUEST SPEAKER: NICOLE WELLS
Nicole Wells president of Numurkah Community House spoke to the club.
Nicole introduced herself as a "bit of a gypsy" attending 11 different schools and living in 35 different houses meeting and making some beautiful friends. Found people need connection to enhance their self-worth.
Community house at 13 Murray Avenue has a garden in the back-yard where anyone can come in, plant or pick and make it their own.
Out front of house is a free pantry with food for vulnerable people and providing sustainability by reducing waste.
House itself is functional but not inviting needs to be comfortable and homely.
Work planned is the creation of a sand pit for kids and updating the kitchen and convert a storeroom into a walk in pantry.
Food share is available, and the Community House uses Facebook to publicise its activities

SECRETARY KAY MOODIE:
Sponsorship of child through Plan for 30 years by club to be discussed.
L2P needs volunteers to provide driving tuition to children who do not have access to a car.
Rotarians Against Malaria calling for a committee.
RLI next session 29th September.
JULIE ANDREW:
Lions Ladies High Tea donated $2000 to Soldier Settler Project.
P.P. LOU HAMON:
Expressed thanks to Jennifer Rodger for providing the meeting reports whilst he was absent attending a wedding and a funeral.
Lou also brought attention to the club of the Moira Arts & Culture presentation of the St Kilda Film Festival in Numurkah Town Hall Friday 9th August and Yarroweyah Hall Saturday 10th August. Screenings commence at 7.30pm with supper served during interval. Program consists of the festival's award winners (which are eligible for entry into to the Hollywood Oscars) and the festival director's favourites.

Board meeting tonight. Members Forum to enable feedback on whether club should sponsor a child with PLAN or a child in Umoja.
Discussion ensued with recommendation to board that the club continue to sponsor child with PLAN but also consider sponsoring a child with Umoja.
MARIE AUSTIN:
Guest speaker next week will give details of "Aquaboxes" to the club.
GEOFF AUSTIN:
Geoff spoke to the club about the Camel Dare bike ride of 800Km back of Bourke to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Now in its 23rd year, Geoff has participated in five. Over 2 weeks road on dirt roads, 29 riders with 5 support vehicles giving 3 stops a day. Stops at a station with catering by locals or the Bourke CWA. Riders pay $1,600 plus a $200 donation to the RDFS,
