Ivan Routley, using a pictorial presentation, spoke to the club highlighting the changes to orchards.
Stages are preparing the soil, planting with the assistance of machinery, protection of plantings with milk cartons, erection of trellis, training of plantings on trellis.
New irrigation pumps installed, powered by diesel generator awaiting power connection.
Self propelled platforms instead of ladders.
No longer supply cannery, all fruit now goes to fresh fruit market with higher returns.

Indication of interest in 4WD Trip, on first weekend of April, requested to enable planning.

Appreciation of Bowls Club as a venue for combined meeting with Lions due to weather. Unfortunately formal dining at tables does not encourage fellowship between the clubs which is a drawback.
Question asking members for donations for projects, should this be dealt with with annual disbursements.

Attended John Hodge's funeral where acknowledgement was made of John's contribution to the community.

A rancher was persuaded to cross-breed his cattle with hyenas. It was a disaster. The offspring were the laughing stock of the community!
