CLUB MEETING 31st JANUARY 2022


PRESIDENT GARY PHILLIPS welcomed members and guests, Geoff Limnar , Anne Fuller, Box Hill Rotary, Fiona Seager.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Bill Hewson's passing was marked with one minutes silence. Funeral St Andrews Church 11am Friday. Rotarians requested to wear blue shirts and form a guard of honour at church and cemetery.

NCN Community Bus Project to be launched 26th February in Newman Square. 

CHAIR: P.P. MARK McNAMARA.

Following accident two years ago has sold business, now tend to Caroline. Caroline employed at SAM in an administrative position during start-up phase, now accountant.

GUEST SPEAKER: P.P. MARK McNAMARA:

 
Mark McNamara got into photography by necessity in real estate. Enrolled in a Night Photography Class at TAFE to develop skills. 
Focused on taking local photos over the last 18 months. Allows camera to source available light, either street light or moonlight, does not use flash.
Using a power point presentation Mark showed some of his "Numurkah in darkness" photos which he has posted on Facebook during COVID pandemic to be an uplifting distraction.

Breakfast Club at Primary School requires another volunteer for Wednesday morning.

Thanked club for Australia Day celebrations BBQ. Rotary Club of Numurkah recipient of two awards, Numurkah & District 2022 Event of the Year - Love Your Sister dinner, and Arts, Culture / Environment Project - 41st Art & Craft Exhibition.
