IGA requesting a letter from club in support of local "Community Day".
Zone Virtual Conference September 11-12.
P.P. TERRY BRENNAN:
Suggestion for Rotary to facilitate a town meeting for the release of a report on creek water quality.
TREASURER JEFF BUZZA:
Suggested board consider annual subs at $200.
Although it requires $160 additional subsidy by club for each member to cover costs, with return of fines and catering this should be met.
PRESIDENT GARY PHILLIPS:
- Moira Shire CEO Clare Keenan to be guest speaker on 16th August. Other clubs to be invited to attend.
- Michelle (Squish) Davis to be appointed Youth Director.
- Frank Malcolm has tendered his resignation, which the board has accepted with regret. A suitable letter to be sent to Frank thanking him for his service to Rotary.
OPEN GARDEN WEEKEND:
To be held on weekend 30-31 August with six gardens participating. Will require all hands on deck with gate-keepers at each site in 2 hour shifts from 10am to 4pm.
Tasks to be undertaken include: Promotion / Sponsorship / Tickets / Community Grants / Rosters.
ATTENDANCE:
14 members present plus 3 feline members Bob, Smics, Shadow.
