Secretary – Kay Moodie – Reminder RLI Part 1, Aug 4, Taste of Ryla Aug 25, Pioneer Lodge Development Day this Friday, Jenna Mason requesting assistance for International Horse Jumping Competition in Beijing in Aug, as well as Katana Smith for a school excursion to the Kimberley; Ron Sinclair & Gary Jungworth from Greenvale both former Rotarians, recently passed away.
Directors Reports – Marie Austin – Aquabox, - an emergency kit with water purifier, if someone is looking for a guest speaker they are interested in attending.
June Hewson – She was informed that the Uniting Church have offered their support to collect bottle caps for Rotary.
Chris Sutton – AG – Gary Jungworth was an assistant governor & attended the conference in Canada when Chris attended last year. Nathalia had their debate last Wednesday night, St Mary’s team won against the Nathalia High School. District Govenor’s visit has been changed to Monday October 7 with a Board meeting before the normal meeting. A Rotarian from Rutherglen Don Burrows, doing Kakoda Track in late July is raising funds for Aust Rotary Health & Mental Health Issues.
TERRY BRENNAN– Ivan Routley & he have fixed the cupboard here in the club rooms.
Fellowship – Judy Newman - Frank Malcolm 10 years as a member; Birthdays, Jason Andrew, Chris Hardham, Gayle Buzza, Jennifer Routley. Judy spoke with Ernest’s wife & he is coping quite well with the dialysis, Ernest is turning 80 at the end of July.
Sally Rose – Ryla event on Aug 25, it is a fun day & she encourages others to become a part of it. Encourage members for candidates for support for Ryla for attending between the age of 18-35 to build skills.
Julie Andrew – Umoja dinner next Sunday night with Cathy Booth in Nathalia, & Cathy will then be attending our Club next Monday night.
Kate Hodge – As Councillor for Tinja, they have met briefly & she appears to be a lovely young girl & very excited to be here & she is sure she will fit in well & she is sure it will be a great success for the year & will start school at the High School.
