CLUB MEETING 23rd AUGUST 2021


PRESIDENT GARY PHILLIPS welcomed members and guests to a virtual Zoom meeting.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

  • D​​​ecision made to cancel scheduled Saturday BBQ in Town Square last Saturday due to COVID.
  • Webinar "Fix the Environment" Thursday 2pm.

CHAIR: ROSS HARDHAM.

  • Guest speaker unable to make presentation on Zoom.
  • Two additions to flock of sheep.
  • Two children vaccinated, one to go.

 

 

 

REPORTS

 

SECRETARY JENNIFER RODGER:

  • Bendigo Bank Community Consultation cancelled.
  • Condolences from club on the passing of former Rotarian Gerry Green in Numurkah Leader.
P.P. CHRIS SUTTON:
Polio vaccinations in Afghanistan halted.
 
P.P. STEPHEN MILLS:
Soldier Settlement opening ceremony on 23rd October to be discussed. Decision to monitor COVID situation and seek a decision from committee.
 
PRESIDENT GARY PHILLIPS:
Open Garden Weekend to be postponed till next year. Gardens to be contacted.
 
IGA RUOK BBQ's 4th and 9th September likely to be cancelled.
 
Next week discussion on membership.
