  • established a consulting business still running - strategic planning & engagement

  • Telstra Foundation money - young people
  • Psycology board of Australia - regulation, accreditation
  • local government over 55 boards worked with
  • taken over from Susanna Sheed

  • 2. Shire
  • Work alongside Graham Emerson until October 2028, Matthew Morgan CEO
  • Rebuild trust in the council, deliver outcomes for community, clear focus for the future
  • Transparency and good governance
  • Build up a good cohort of community people to take October in 2028
  • The priortity is to visit all communities in the shire
  • 1st official event was ANZAC Day in Numurkah - saw great pride in the community
  • Currently reviewing strategic documents - vision from the shire developed by 18 community representatives
  • Council 4 year plan that fits all the 5 pillars
  • 10 year financial strategy
  • Looking after assets
  • Numurkah Flood Levee stage 1 completed, and Stage 2 commenced
  • other major projects underway in Yarrawonga and Cobram
  • Water buybacks advocating the negative effects of
  • Community Leadership Program is a fantastic initiative - building skills in public speaking, governance and leadership
  • Electoral review is the final recommendation that needs to be finalised as part of the process

  • 3. Rotary
  • 30 years as a Rotarian in Dubbo Macquarie - lunchtime meeting
  • President in 1999
  • Joined Rutherglen and became DG
  • Now in 9790 as an E-Club President
  • Grown from 18-35 members with another 4 in the pipeline
  • International Projects in Sri Lanka - schools, running water and toilets, help retain students and teachers
  • Work with Uni's in Sri Lanka to teach the native language that was dying
  • Cambodia, rice for Cambodia and clean water and toilets
  • Teacher in a box - students with poor internet but load education on the laptops
  • Share Project - building in Broadford repurposing medical equipment for OS
  • Interested in leaving a legacy in all avenues of career and community service
  • it's a privilege to serve as an Administrator and a Rotarian

  • Historical Society sales of envelopes slowing down and hoping Rotary could assist with sales, reach out to Rotarian members to purchase, the Society can post to interested persons

  • BBQ Food Handlers - BBQ was inspected by the Shire Inspectors, thanks Terry & Ross, single use, wash everything every time. Always track our servers, a new training coming online mandatory for all volunteers working on BBQ's - food handling (DO FOOD SAFELY).
