Open Garden Scheme postponed to same time next year due to COVID restrictions. Letter to be sent to participants.
Awaiting news on lifting of restrictions before Golf Club can host our meetings.
Four boxes of clothing received from North Balwyn Rotary Club. Wish to be given as a gift. Contacted schools but mainly men's adult clothing, will contact Community Centre.
Lorraine has provided 30 bottles of home grown olive oil to be sold to members @ $10 per bottle. Funds raised to admin account. Contact Jennifer if interested,
Tentative booking for a weekend at DC Mulwala on 7th November. Magnificent site on the Murray. Details in Reports.

Josh West was born to parents addicted to drugs, adopted by foster parents at 6 months.
Suffering Asperger's Syndrome picked on at school. Met grand parents at 18 years
Commenced playing basketball at 19 years, had tried other sports but basketball became his passion, playing with Australian Paralympic Team, Australian Boomerangs. Team members are able bodied but with intellectual disabilities. Captain of the team has travelled the world, Japan, America, South America, Turkey and Italy.
Team is not sponsored, all paid from own pocket. Basketball has changed his life, giving him focus and meeting some wonderful friends.
Now coaching, plays several days a week and trains in Melbourne 5 - 7 times a year when allowed. Zoom training during COVID.
Success in life goes back to foster parents who gave him a second chance at life.

PRESIDENT JENNIFER RODGER:
As the border restrictions are now being lifted - I have made a tentative booking @ DC on the Lake, Mulwala for 07/11/20 for either powered sites or there is a range of cabins available. Hopefully members will want to spend a weekend on the water & have a relaxing time after being stuck at home for months on end. We will pretty much be an in area together with access to the camp kitchen for a shared barbeque dinner.
Cabin prices start at $150 per night for 2 people in a standard Parkview cabin on a 2 night stay. There are also 3 bedroom cabins (some with queen in main & 2 x tri-bunks in 2nd & 3rd) and also waterfront or poolside cabins - prices vary for all these.
Powered sites are $36 per night for 2 persons. Extras are $20 pp p/n.
