CLUB MEETING 18th JANUARY 2021

PRESIDENT JENNIFER RODGER welcomed members to first meeting for 2021 at the Numurkah Golf & Bowls Club.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Park Run trial had 20 participants. Next trial Sunday with 5 volunteers required.
Art Show sponsorship letters ready for committee.
D.S. Chris Sutton organising the Ride to Conference prior to District Conference.
June Hewson has had health issues, now back at home.
Meeting on 1st February will be a Numurkah Cemetery Walk with Bernadette Steward. Meet at cemetery at 6.30. Walk followed by BBQ, bring chair and drinks for BBQ.
Next weeks meeting will be Tuesday Australia Day. BBQ from 8am.

SECRETARY SALLY ROSE:

100 years of Rotary, live stream event.
New Focus - Protecting the Environment.
Police Officer Awards.
Request for photo of drought effected farm.

P.P. LOU HAMON:

Australia Day Tuesday 26th. Rotary to provide breakfast BBQ from 8am. Set up 7.30am.

Assistance with monitoring and assisting with registration by QR code or manual pen and paper, as well as encouraging safe distancing when queuing for breakfast, would be appreciated.

P.P. MARK McNAMARA:

RSL request assistance with early morning BBQ on Anzac Day.

Ivan reported last week: 11 in attendance with 11 apologies 35%.

This week 6 apologies with 19 in attendance and 1 make up. 62.5%
