Guest speaker was to have been Kevin Bourke, a member with Terry on the Flood Mitigation project, but Kevin was unable to attend tonight. Will be guest speaker next week.

Currently President of the Numurkah Bowls Club. Looking to the future of the club, a coach has been appointed. This has brought a nucleus of younger women bowlers to the club. Board is equal men and women.

Board decided to donate $1000 to Umoja Orphanage following Cathy Booth's presentation. Cathy advised several members had also made donations.
ANTHONY OLIVER:
As President of the Nathalia Rotary Club, Anthony reported on the club and its activities.
The club has a membership of 10 and has commenced meeting again, but at a new venue, the Bridge Hotel.
Fund raising activities for the club have had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Show and Shine will now be held in March next year, the Nathalia New Year's Carnival has been cancelled, but the club will conduct a spinning wheel at the Christmas Market to raise funds which will be disbursed to the community. The club has produced a Rotary themed calendar selling at $15.

A patient came to the hospital with a burned right hand. As the doctor took down his medical history, he asked the injured man, "Do you smoke?"
"Yeah, a pack and a half a day," said the patient. Concerned, the doctor told him, "You should consider quitting." "No, it's OK," said the patient. "I smoke with my left hand."
