All animals are placed into personal homes of volunteer foster careers

Steph has fostered 50 dogs since
GV PA is a not for profit, no government funding, only donations and grants
All fostered animals have no time limits
Some stay a couple of weeks, some 6 months
Potential new foster carers have to fill out a form and can choose what type of animal they are willing to choose to foster
Nathalia Boarding Kennels are an integral part of GVPA with assistance with doggie daycare and holidays
They supply a doggy daycare bus to pick up from carers
Consider joining as a foster carer or becoming an adoptee
There is an application process for potential adoptees to match potential
Costs are age related $700 for puppies, $500 for older than 5 yrs
Meet and greet at property of new home is essential
Vet bills are covered by the shelter and large dog food companies supply dog food for the foster carers

President Linda presented John Shrimpton a cheque to CFA for $419 from proceeds from the Family Funday last Saturday for the upcoming Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal

Ride to Conference - Chris Sutton received the Sportswoman's Award for 5 years of service in organising the Ride to Conference
The Good Friday Appeal is looking for volunteers at CFA shed from 9 am to rattle tins around town
Was very motivated by attending the District Conference and the presentations were excellent - next year the conference is in Melbourne at Pentridge Jail

Taking orders for new T-Shirts or a jacket badged in by Wednesday

Loaded up 18 pallets last week and then another 12 pallets today of batteries got a price of $700/ ton = $10080
Collected over 2 years

Australian Rotary Health the current recipient of money for $2500 healthcare scholarships
2019 Chris/Numurkah Rotary has taken over the running of the ride
2025 looks like it raised $11500 this year, to date $151,700 raised for Australian Rotary Health
