Bev Hutchins took over as Editor of the Numurkah Leader in January after the retirement of her brother Tony Morris who had spent 44 years with the Leader, 17 of those as editor.
Bev follows in the footsteps of her grandfather, father, mother and brother to become editor.
In process of rejuvenating the paper to make it more appealing and relevant to a younger readership. Have entered social media with a Facebook page with 1000 'Likes', aim to have a website and eventually a subscription digital edition.
Bev found the first issues were difficult and challenging.
Business looking at the purchase of a new digital printer for short-run commercial work, whilst retaining the offset printer for bigger runs.
Bev's great loves are her family and golf.
