Baulkamaugh Scout Group
There are currently 18 registered scouts with the local Baulkamaugh Scoup Group
Leaders Jason & Stacey, youth leader Nicole attended with scouts Jordan, Femke, Caleb, Angus and Charlie
2025 is the 26th Australian Jamboree and they are held every three years
This year's event was held in Maryborough QLD
In 2025 there were 10,000 scouts and 2000 adults attending
Run over 10 days
•Activities included: Abseiling, Crate stacking, Esky races, Construction, Woodwork, Soldering, Bike riding, Laser tag, Archery
Mud Run, Paddle boarding, Snorkeling, Train Rides, Raft Building, Australia Zoo, Military Museum
•The weather was Hot & Steamy, Muddy & Wet, 2 x large tropical storms (including a lightning strike)
Food was collected from a Q Store everyday and meals were prepared each day by a different duty patrol

•Fundraising for 12 months was undertaken as each child cost was $3000
The following were the main activities: Grain Drive, Trivia Night, BBQ’s (lots), Poultry Auction Catering
The scouts travelled around all the businesses and farmers who donated to the cause to say thank you and have a look at their businesses.
Prior to the jamboree, a Pre-Jam camping weekend for 3 days was held with other scout troops who were attending together. It was held up the Murray River.
