Caroline explained why organ and tissue donation is important.
One transplant can save 10 or more people. There are 1,500 people on the organ transplant waiting list, and 100 of these could die each year while waiting for an organ transplant.
People need transplants for many different reasons from heart to lungs and skin tissue.
Almost anyone can donate.
Need to talk to family, in the event of your death the family will be asked to confirm your donation decision.
In Australia, family consent is always sought before donation can proceed - even if you are registered on the Donor Register.
