The Annual Ray Butler Memorial Debate will be staged at The Bridge Hotel in Nathalia. Ray was an esteemed foundation member of the Rotary Club of Nathalia. The Bridge Hotel has also been recently amazingly renovated, so a great opportunity to have a look as well. Event is 6 pm for a 6 30 pm start. Format for the evening is debate first, meals to follow. The Debate this year is between the Nathalia Secondary College ( Affirmative) and St. Mary's of the Angels ( Negative) Topic That Victoria should re-introduce technical schools This event will be held in place of our regular Club meeting and members are asked to RSVP via the Club Runner invite for catering /seating purposes for the evening. \\ Car pooling would be a great options , so phone a Rotary friend and share a ride. Say No to Domestic Violence Walk organized in conjunction with The Moira Shire. Walk commencing at 10am at the Rotary Park, walking to Newman's Square. At Newman's Square there will be Service Providers, Free BBQ, Speakers. At 1pm there will be a Non Gender Basis Education Session on Domestic Violence at the Numurkah Community Learning Centre sponsored by Moira Shire. |
